2024 OLL Men’s Club Bass Classic Fishing Tournament Final Report

The annual OLL Men’s Club Fishing Tournament was held on Saturday June 8th and was another tremendous success!  We had beautiful weather with great fishing, food, drink, and fellowship.  We set new records across the board with 15 boats competing and 91 attendees, including families, enjoying the festivities; while also generating meaningful net proceeds which will help fund our worthy causes that support parish needs and our youth. From donated fish we ended up with 40lbs of fillets. We still need more for our September Fish Fry so if anyone has extra fish they would like to donate between now and then we will gladly accept. We have lots of space in the freezer in the Family Life Center.

 

This outstanding result was achieved through the hard work and contributions of many, and we want to acknowledge and thank them.

• Volunteers Before, During & After the Event – In addition to those named above:  Lou and Gayle Chiasson (as always, helped where he saw the need), Virginia Desrosiers (photographer), Nancy Burfield (ran the 50/50 raffle), Laura Lee Stockdell (50/50 winner who donated the prize money back to the Men’s Club), Mike Bozzo (said the blessing), Ed and Ginger Stawicki, and Jim Assemany (hauled in and out the tables and chairs).
