Our biggest fundraiser was held at Timberlake Country Club on Friday October 10th and was an outstanding success!  The weather cooperated and we had a wonderful day of great golf, food, drink, and fellowship; all while contributing to the worthy cause of providing three $3,000 scholarships (plus one with an anonymous donor) to high school seniors and helping to fund other youth-related needs.  We had about 80 sponsors with 31 teams (124 golfers) and we ended up setting another new record with net proceeds! 

 

This tremendous result was achieved through the hard work of many, and we want to acknowledge and thank our fellow Men's Club members and parishioners as well as others.

•    Volunteers Before, During & After The Event - In addition to the Committee members: Father Dennis Willey who kicked off our event with a golfer opening prayer, Greg Arbogast, Lou Chiasson, Phil Clark, Virginia Desrosiers, Joe Gagnon, Donnie Jameson, Mark Klypka, Ray Kuderka, Steve Limperis, Jim McFadden (photographer), Pat Moore, Joe Presti, Nick Ricci, Tim Rich, John Roland, Bruce Thompson, Myron Vincent, Julie Weinzapfel, Nancy Williamson, and Bill Wortner; plus those who did not sign-up but pitched-in anyway.

 

And, a good time was had by all. The meal with the prizes for the team and individual winners, plus the handing out of 58 donated raffle gifts, was held after golf; so, everyone stuck around for the fun! Special recognition to Lou Chiasson and Virginia Desrosiers who ran an amazing raffle.
